ACT: Weaving Musical Strands: Sharing Approaches to AC9
March 26 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
This workshop is aimed at planning and teaching engaging music lessons utilising Version 9 of the Australian National Curriculum. With plenty of practical examples, our wonderful ACT committee will guide you through the four interrelated strands of the Music curriculum.
Various committee members have excellent new games and ideas to share to help you as you implement AC9. We will run through Exploring and Responding with a First Nations song for years 3 and 4, and with Chrome Music Lab for years 5 and 6, Creating and Making with a cute song called Bingo Bongolo for years 1 and 2, Developing Skills with a new watermelon throwing game and Presenting and Performing with a game and ostinatos for a new song called High Seas Adventures. We can’t wait to share all this and more with you.
We are pleased to advise that the workshop has been approved for two hours of TQI accredited Professional Learning. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive handout to assist your Music programming.
